Research on active neck support systems presented at scientific workshop
Engineering Services Inc. (ESI) Active Materials Division presented research on Active Neck Support Systems at the TTCP (The Technical Cooperation Program) HUM (Human Resources and Performance Group) TP7 (Technical Panel 7 - Human Systems Integration - Air). The workshop was held at Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) – Toronto, August 29–30, 2011. |

ESI to develop Canada's new space arm technologies
Engineering Services Inc. (ESI) announced today that it has signed a contract with the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) worth $3 million (CAD) to develop robotic arm technologies for lunar missions, with an option for a second arm worth $500 thousand (CAD). Along with a micro-rover and a smaller robotic arm, this is the third robot that ESI is developing for the CSA and establishes ESI as a major player in Canada's space industry.
