by a customer and resolve problems. In-field investigations, testing and experiments are performed to optimize proposed solutions and demonstrate their effectiveness. Design & Prototyping

This service involves design, modeling and prototyping of active/smart structures and control systems. This entails identification of currently available smart/active, materials, actuators and sensors, without limiting
the range of feasible solutions to ESI's proprietary and patented active material technologies.

Research & Development

ESI Active Materials Group can be tasked to perform comprehensive R&D work to establish feasibility of
novel systems, materials or devices. This includes experimental R&D.
