ESI Active Materials Participated in CTI-First Responders Conf.in Montreal

Military and Police wearing gears enhancing protection, comfort and safety.

ESI's Active Materials group has completed the development and first-batch fabrication of
Heating-Actuating-Sensing Composite (HASCO) Fabric on the basis of technologies within ESI's US
Patents #7038357 and #6969941. A prototype consumer product is currently being built that has
the capability of actively varying its volumetric and surface features (compliance, size, texture)
based on the user's requirements.

ESI Active Materials is a member of the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI) (https://www.defenceandsecurity.ca). Participation in CADSI's CANSEC 2007 - Canada's National Defence and Security Technology Showcase is planned to present our new products.
